Nashville, TN – Members of the SURVICE Metrology team participated in the 32nd annual Coordinate Metrology Society Conference (CMSC), held in Nashville, TN, July 25–29, 2016.  Team member Shawn Recker presented a technical paper on using the SURVICE-developed HawkEye application suite to perform automatic stitching of hand-held LIDAR scans using photogrammetry and structure-from-motion.  In addition, SURVICE operated an exhibitor’s booth during the five-day event to showcase many of SURVICE’s advanced metrology tools and services.

The Coordinate Metrology Society includes users, service providers, and original equipment manufacturers of close-tolerance industrial coordinate measurement systems, software, and peripherals.  For more information, visit www.CMSC.org. To read the full text of the SURVICE Metrology team’s paper, click here.
